Skin Needling
Skin needling is a slightly more invasive procedure . Your Beauty therapist uses thin needles to make tiny holes in the top layer of your skin. The damage helps stimulate your skin's healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.
Skin needling can help with:

- Pigmentation
- Sun damage
- Acne
- Rosacea
- Large open pores
- Black heads
- Stretch marks
You can apply numbing creme before attending your appointment for my comfort
Pre-Treatment Care
Call the salon if you develop a cold sore, acne, open lesions in the area being treated, or experience any type of illness before your treatment.
A doctors note is to be provided before this treatment if you have any areas you may be a little concerned off that may have changed colour shape
you must take extra care not to expose your skin to UV radiation before your appointment.
No Exfoliating for ten days before your appointment
Do not use self-tan or spray tan products for one to two weeks before treatment.
Do not wax, pluck or bleach two weeks before your treatment.
Do not use Retin-A for two weeks prior to treatment.
Do not use Roaccutane for six months prior to treatment.
Avoid Botox & filler at Least 2 weeks prior
Post-Treatment Care
Try not to wet the face for 24 hours after your treatment
Follow instructions regarding aftercare for what products to use on your skin by your beauty therapist
Do not wear makeup for 24 hours after your treatment
It can take up to two weeks for the skin to go through any shedding and during this time it’s very important not to pick or scratch the spots so as to avoid any scarring
The skin will feel warm sunburnt feeling for up to 48 hours
The skin will go red /pink for up to 48 hours
Don't use any exfoliating products for 14 days after your appointment.
Don't use products with glycolic acid, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, or topical acne treatments for 5 days
This treatment is good to pair with LED light treatment to help the healing process
This treatment can be done once a mth depending on the healing progress.
