Reiki Massage

Reiki is an ancient technique used for stress reduction and relaxation and has been shown to have several benefits for both physical and mental health.

During a reiki session, a practitioner gently places their hands on or above your body to balance its flow of energy. They also slowly move their hands across your body.

The benefits of Reiki:

Improved mood and emotional well-being.

Reduced stress and increased relaxation.

Better sleep, improved insomnia symptoms.

For people undergoing surgery, lower blood pressure, anxiety, and pain.

Sometimes you may cry during a Reiki session this is because Reiki rebalances you on all levels, so these mental and emotional states come to your awareness to be managed and then gently released. The emotions or physical sensations that come to the surface during and after receiving reiki are part of the Reiki journey.

Pre-Treatment Care

Relax + reflect

Give yourself at least 30 minutes prior to the session to sit and reflect, particularly checking in with how your body is feeling and anything you are noticing with regards to emotions, thoughts or physical sensations.

Take some time to breathe and also tend to whatever your body's needs might be on that given day.

You may also want to reflect on any intentions you want to set for your session, and anything you want to share with your beauty Therapist before you begin.

Eat + hydrate

Make sure you have eaten  something light and hydrated a few hours before the session, mostly so you will be as comfortable as possible

You will be asked to turn your phone off or put on silent so you can experience total relaxation

Your beauty Therapist will not talk to you and will ask for you not to talk until after the session ends unless you feel uncomfortable at any time
