Waxing

The best benefit of waxing is that the hair doesn't grow back very quickly. Waxing removes the hairs from the root. With shaving, the hairs are cut off close to skin level.

Waxing will not permanently remove hair. However, it will leave your skin hairless and smooth.

Some people find waxing can sometimes break out the skin - however if a proper aftercare is followed this is not always the case

Pre-Treatment Care

Try to avoid plucking and shaving in between  waxing appointments  as this can alter the hair growth and can cause ingrown hairs .

It is always good to do a gentle exfoliate on the area being waxed a week before hand to help remove stubborn hair follicles

The hair will need to be long enough to pull out with waxing otherwise the follicle won’t be pulled out.

Try to shower before the waxing appointment. Showering before a waxing session helps to cleanse the skin, removing any dirt, oils, or lotions that could interfere with the wax adhering properly to the hair.

We recommend you halt using any retinol products  7-10 days before your scheduled waxing appointment. As for other ingredients that can cause skin to become sensitive and pose problems for your upcoming facial waxing appointment, glycolic acid and lactic acid should be avoided about 5 days prior.

No sunburn in the area

Post-Treatment Care

Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming, strenuous exercise, or lying in the sun for the first 24 hours.

Stay in loose, comfortable clothing for the rest of the day after waxing to avoid any irritation caused by rubbing. Soothe and calm your skin with Soothe Hydrating & Cooling Serum.

No exfoliating for at least 48 hours
